Privacy Policy: What Data We Collect and How We Protect It

At 1King, we collect personal data only for account security, identity verification and legal compliance. On this page we explain which data we collect and at which stage.

Data Collected at Registration

When opening an account, you choose either a phone number or an email address. You also set a password.

Data When It's Collected
Phone number or email address While filling in the registration form
Password While filling in the registration form

This information is needed to create your account. It also gives you login access. Your password is the main tool that protects your account from unauthorised access.

The registration form also has an optional promo code field. This field isn't required. Leaving it blank doesn't affect the registration process. Every step is covered in our registration guide.

Data Collected During Identity Verification (KYC)

Before withdrawing funds, you're asked to complete identity verification. The following information may be requested during this process:

  • A colour copy of your passport or a colour copy of your national ID card.
  • A driving licence copy, if requested.
  • A utility bill as proof of address, if requested.
  • Phone number verification.
  • Additional verification through a video call with a specialist, if needed.

This information is requested to verify your identity. It's also used to link the account to its real owner and to make withdrawals secure.

Why We Collect Your Data

The data we collect serves three main purposes.

  • Account security: your password and verification steps prevent your account from being taken over by someone else.
  • KYC and compliance: identity documents are reviewed to meet the regulatory requirements the platform is subject to.
  • Fraud prevention: identity and contact verification helps prevent fake accounts and bonus abuse.

Your data isn't used beyond these purposes. Only authorised teams can access information about your account. That access is limited to what's needed for your transactions.

The Video Verification Call

In some cases, a video call may be requested as an extra step. The call language is confirmed in advance. This step confirms that the account holder matches the person in the submitted documents.

A few things can happen on accounts that don't complete verification: bets can be cancelled, deposited funds can be withdrawn, or account access can be restricted. That's why submitting complete documents speeds up the process.

Verification and Withdrawals

The KYC process applies not only at registration, but also before a withdrawal request. A withdrawal can't start until your account is fully verified.

At this stage, your phone number may be reconfirmed. Your email address may be reconfirmed too, if needed. This step confirms that the person requesting the withdrawal is the same person who owns the account.

The documents you submit for verification are used for two purposes only: confirming you're the genuine account holder, and making sure the withdrawal is carried out securely.

Protecting Your Data

Your personal data is only viewed by authorised teams. This applies to matters related to your account. We recommend not sharing your account details with anyone. We also recommend keeping your password confidential.

Your phone number and email address are also used in security steps, such as withdrawal confirmation. Keeping this information current matters for your account's security.

Technical Data

While you use the platform, basic technical data is processed to keep your session running. This data also supports the proper functioning of the service. The goal is to let you log in securely and to keep the platform working as expected.

Password Security

We recommend choosing a password different from the ones you use on other platforms. If you run into a problem with your password, you can contact our support team from your account panel.

Keeping Your Account Information Accurate

The phone number and email address you provide at registration need to be accurate. Information in your KYC documents needs to stay current too. Incorrect or incomplete information can slow down verification. It can also lead to your account being restricted.

If your information changes, updating it matters. For example, if you change your phone number, updating this information helps you keep access to your account.

How Long We Keep Your Data

Your account and verification information continues to be processed for as long as your account is active. This information is kept for as long as security and regulatory compliance require.

Questions

If you have a question about how your personal data is processed, you can contact our support team from your account panel. Your request is reviewed once your identity is verified. See our account usage rules on the Terms and Conditions page.
